How can we make our towns and cities greener?

Cloudscape is a new and ambitious concept from award-winning garden designer, Jason Williams (aka 'The Cloud Gardener'). Jason's 18th floor balcony garden in Manchester gained a large social media following during the COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020 – he has since used his platform to communicate the benefits of urban gardening to biodiversity, wildlife and mental health.

This film follows Jason as he prepares his centrepiece show gardens for the Royal Horticultural Society's inaugural Urban Show. Working alongside like-minded collaborators to create seven different garden design concepts, Jason considers the challenges that regularly face urban gardens. From growing in containers, sun and shade to renting and budget restrictions. Seven separate stories all intertwine into one.
