Well, it’s official – the boys have officially flown the nest. Ash, Jack, Mark, Felix and Chris have moved out (only down the hall, that is). While everyone’s still coming to terms with the break up, the crew have been cracking on with yet another busy week at Standby!
Week 12 Shoots
This week Simon, Ellen and Cath travelled to the exotic town of Bury on a shoot for Globber, in partnership with our friends at Creative Contrast. The shoot went really smoothly, with client, crew and cast all working together brilliantly to bring their vision to life! Later in the week Ash got to work on the edits and made great progress.
Meanwhile, our Creative Director Jack split his time between working on our Corporate and Commercial client edits, including some social edits for our client, Move Dance.
Whilst getting settled into the new office, Chris worked on a varied mix of projects. From working on some exciting TVCs for Hotter Shoes, to online corporate content for Care Fertility and Downing Students. With only T-2 weeks until Chris leaves us to go to Australia, we’re definitely making the most of him whilst he’s here!
Similarly, the Standby Social team is getting busier and busier – with one of our social filmmakers Felix out most of the week on social shoots! On Monday he shot some interviews, on Tuesday he travelled to Bury Grammar, and spent the rest of the week editing for Cheshire Oaks and N Brown!
Everything else
On another note, Mark spent his week holidaying in the Lake District and managed to bag all the good weather – happy to have you back though now Mark!
On Saturday, Simon, Ellen, Rich and Ash attended the Brian House Fundraiser in Blackpool and had a ball of a time. The guys were accompanied by Jordan Wylie, one of Standby’s Ambassadors who is very soon to be Rowing Dangerously. Check out Jordan’s page to read all about his incredible challenge!
As you can see, the guys looked very dapper – and all for a good cause of course!
As we mentioned, the move to the new office is now complete, and our production team are very happy in their new home. Keep an eye out for some more juicy gossip all about our move!
