Embracing Wellness in Nature: Wild Well-being Day with Lancashire Wildlife Trust

23.08.23

We’re absolutely stoked to bring you some exciting news that’s bound to add a dash of nature’s charm to your day. At Standby Productions, we’ve got a passion for not just producing content but also for nurturing the well-being of our incredible crew. This September, we’re heading out into the great outdoors, joining forces with our pals at Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

Championing Well-being:

In the midst of deadlines, meetings, and the endless hustle, it’s easy to forget to take a deep breath and focus on ourselves. So it’s time to take care of our minds and bodies. It’s not just about work; it’s about life, laughter, and everything in between.

The Ultimate Dynamic Duo:

We’ve got a rock-solid partnership with Lancashire Wildlife Trust, and it’s not just any partnership—it’s one filled with heart and purpose. We continue to donate 1% of our annual turnover to support the Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s fantastic work. Conservation, education, and a deep love for the environment—that’s the kind of synergy we’re all about.

Back to Nature, Back to Balance:

Think about it: when was the last time you had a heart-to-heart with nature? A Wild Well-being Day is your golden ticket to break free from the screens and soak up some natural goodness.

What is a Wild Wellbeing Day?

A Wild Wellbeing Day offers our crew a pause to connect with nature. Led by Lancashire Wildlife Trust experts, we’ll explore local spots, experiencing nature’s positive impact on happiness and stress reduction. Based on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, these days blend tranquility and wellness in the North West’s beauty.

Each Wild Wellbeing Day is a unique adventure shaped by location, season, and weather. We’ll start with an invigorating walk to uncover woodland secrets or coastal wildlife. Learn skills like campfires, bee protection, and creating natural havens. Share campfire-cooked lunch, insights, and mindfulness activities like chocolate meditation (who knows, but we can’t wait and are super intrigued!!). Engage in conservation tasks like planting seeds. Depart with well-being insights, ready to integrate into daily life.

So, there you have it, the countdown to our Wild Well-being Day has begun and we can’t wait to get back to nature after a few months of solid graft and look after our mind, body and soul.
